Quite busy, but we were served our drinks promptly. It is one of the nightspots in this area. Reasonable prices and it serves food.

At the end of January 2015 I spent two weeks in Negombo. Looking for a good dinner restaurant I tried different places, but the first three days I was mostly disappointed. On the fourth day of my stay in Negombo I discovered the Serendib, and it became immediately my favorit place for dinner.

We spent our final evening in Sri Lanka here after it was recommended by our guest house proprietor and loved it. I had the devilled prawns which were awesome along with excellent service what more do you need.

Had our last meal here, right on the beach. Like most places hit and miss with the smoking on the tables, so glad we do not have that in the UK anymore Fish was fresh, served quickly and very tasty. Drinks and cocktails were plenty full. Would have eaten here again if we had stayed another night. Thanks

Great atmosphere, with authentic decor; I eat here frequently, and the sea food is particularly delicious.We some times travel all the way from Colombo just to enjoy there best cocktails and there friendly service.

We ate a number of excellent seafood platters over 2 weeks in Sri Lanka but this one is definitely up the top. Excellent value for money, perfectly cooked and delicious. Friendly staff, cold beer and delicious arrack! Highly recommended.

We stopped here straight from the airport, great location and chill atmosphere. Beautiful beach out from with cool summer breeze made it a perfect stop after the flight. Good variety of foods also but only stopped in for a few refreshing ciders.

just returned from negombo and spent a lot of time at the serendib mainly because of the friendly helpful staff in particular Mohamed who helped us out with several things and gave us a lot of sound advice about Sri Lanka. The service was excellent as was the food and the music. We will definitely go back.

finishing our holiday with last night in Negombo. We opted for 2 seafood platters, with cocktails Staff were attentive, quick and organised....something generally lacking around more rural areas of Sri Lanka, these were definitely geared to the tourist market. The fresh seafood was fantastic, a thoroughly enjoyable plateful of delights, and cheaper than some at 2500 rupees each. Drinks competitively...

Very good food .. very good staff .. very good family :) The food was very delicious , very cheap, very attractive.
